Their First Three Months

I can't believe the boys are already 3 months old. They are doing great. The nurses told us that preemies grow fast and that they have. At their two month appointment, they were close to 10 lbs, almost doubling their birth weight. It took Kaylee about 5 months to do that! They have so many chubby little rolls that it makes bath time a job and a half. And as I told my mom, you could do a science experiment on some of the stuff I find in those little crevices.

They are smiling like crazy, which is just bliss. We are also working on helping them hold up their heads and sleep (a little) better. Ultimately, we are enjoying them. There are moments I feel very overwhelmed but the Lord gives strength and grace when I ask and seek (sometimes I forget to do that). It's especially a blessing to see Kaylee love on them.

Lucas is active and interactive. He likes his moments of undivided attention and let's you know when he would like more of that. He gives some of the biggest cheeses.

Elijah is a trooper with tummy time and likes to take it all in. He is a pretty easy going little guy. Sometimes I tell him that he needs to be thankful for his brother or I might forget about him at moments.

We are so thankful for them both!

Here are some pictures to document their growth. Since they began life in Alaska, we thought it was fitting to get them Mr. Moose and Mr. Caribou to take their monthly pictures with. Things were so crazy that first little bit that I didn't have it in mind to take their one month pictures with them but we eventually got there.

When I was taking their pictures, Kaylee ran and got Big Blue and wanted a picture,
so I thought I would throw in a snapshot of our "almost!" 3 year old.

And lastly, I finally have a decent picture of the three little bits that I spend my days with...
(Yes, sometimes we don't make it out of our pjs the whole day... but we have fun!)
