4 months

The boys are doing well! They are four months old now and smiling like crazy. They've got the cute baby giggle down really well too. They continue to flop personality characteristics, to the point that Brandon and I will sometimes question whether we accidentally got them mixed up (no need to fret, though, we are 100% confident of who is who). They just have seasons of one being more fussy or one being the better sleeper, etc. They are both chubby as can be and like to be in the thick of the commotion, whether sleeping or just watching as innocent bystanders. This past month has been an exciting time for them.

As you see in the photos, the pediatrician said they could be free of their oxygen during the day, which has been very nice!

April was also the time frame that the pediatricians pinned for the end of the nasty germ season. So between those two things, we have been out and about quite a bit more... and our bodies have been playing catch up. (We have all had a cold or two this month but nothing too bad).

For our first big outing, we packed the whole family up and made our way to Westcliffe to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. It was filled with many fun and exciting moments. Not only did we get to introduce the boys to many of those we love, but we also found out we get another little one to love, via my brother Trent and his wife, Stacy! We are so so excited and thankful for this little life coming into our family sometime this fall!

This past month, we also found out that we are going to Alabama the beginning of June. We will be there 5 weeks, but are planning a grand road trip out there, so we will be gone a little over six weeks. It will be an adventure. One that will have hard moments, I'm sure, but we'll be together.

Other than that, life keeps happening, and leaves us in the dust if we aren't careful. We are challenged daily as we learn life with these three little blessings.

I know I'm a little behind but here are their 4 month photos:
