Presently, my parents are here!! which has been great. We've been doing a little bit of everything. Yesterday we had a wonderful trip into Denali National Park, where we saw many beautiful fall colors and quite a bit of wildlife.
It's starting to get cold and we still have several things we have to/want to do before then. I hope to write a little more later in the month, but for now, I just wanted to try once more to get some videos up along with a few pictures of the fun we have been having.
The boat we took out on our 8 hour Kenai Fjords National Park Glacier trip.
I haven't spent hardly any time out on the water and I really, really enjoyed it!
We saw lots of birds (most notable were puffins and bald eagles), sea otters, sea lions, seals, doll porpoise, humpbacks, and killer whales.
Killer whale
There was about 15 of them swimming around us.
Didn't get any pictures of the humpbacks. They weren't very showy.
THIS is what I thought was swimming right by us on our honeymoon.
I'm not crazy (well... maybe... but anyway)
Such a nice trip.
So thankful for an amazing husband who treated me so wonderfully,
entertaining Kaylee and working with her to take a nap so I could enjoy the bay.
For the record... she would not fall asleep on me like this.
Flight to Colorado... point in case.
I REALLY liked the glaciers.
They are so unique and beautiful and to hear them calve is quite impressive.
Love my girl

Playing in the yard on one of our last warmer days
DENALI! The fall colors were remarkable.
The first grizzly we saw.
I think all together we saw about 10 caribou (pretty far off), 4 full grown grizzlies and 2 cubs, and 4 moose.
We didn't get to see any of the "Great one" or Mt. McKinley but such is life.
It was great to be get in the park, though, and I so enjoyed the animals and its beauty.
Such a great little traveler.
Thankfully she did really well on the bus.
Ride that moose antler.
Dad spotted this guy and he gave us a nice visit!
Moose!
The very last portion of our trip into the park, it started to drizzle, but otherwise
it was quite a nice day compared to what the days surrounding it were like.
But a nice plus to the drizzle was several pretty rainbows.
This is the guy that walked right up besides us but I only got a short video.
He was quick and I wanted to get some photos.
That's it for now! Thankful for some rejuvenation and encouragement that has come from taking a trip and having such special visitors. Still have lots to press on with but on we will go! Prayers for wisdom and discipline in all that is ahead are appreciated.
