So, here we go with videos from the winter...
Swimming!
This was the day she got her little pony that she now loves so much.
PLEASE ignore my singing. (The things you'll do as a mom... No wonder moms are notorious for embarassing their kids). The reason I had to sing is because Kaylee ran the thing out of batteries from riding it so much. Anywho... I wanted to document these sweet friends playing and our little success in learning to share, plus show a glimpse of how fiercely Kaylee rides her pony. This is actually a little bit timid for her because she was still recovering from a couple days prior when she flipped the thing over from riding so hard. : )
It's hard to get videos of her dancing but she's got it in her and it's pretty cute.
"Good" and "Yummy" plus using her spoon!
A lot of her words have started to blend together, besides being a far stretch from the actual word, so you have to take my word for it when I tell you what she is trying to say.
But she keeps trying new words almost daily, which is wonderful!
Bubbles!

Kaylee really enjoys reading books these days.
In the video, she is reading the story of the "Five Little Monkies Jumping on the Bed".
"da octor" and "off bump"
Playing with Papa
A little plug for Apple... first day she used this app.
Peek-a-boo
An oldie but a goodie
Slippin in the snow...
Cleaning house...
My mom made this little card table tent for Kaylee for Christmas and she likes playing house.
She picks up on things quickly and helps around the actual house more and more each day.
And lastly... a little glimpse into our "Nightmare Before Christmas"
The first is at 1:00 a.m. in the Seattle airport. We had a nice long layover so we could go to the USO there and sleep, instead of fly through the night, but Kaylee had other ideas...
The second is a fast-forward to 3 hours later... still going strong.
1:00 a.m.
4:00 a.m.
Shortly after this, I embraced it and we just had fun
(plus we met an amazing Native Alaskan lady to chat with).

Until that point, I was so stressed about her not sleeping and I was miserable.
She is a precious gift and I am so thankful for her.
