Kaylee and I have had a good time in California together. Often times, we try to work hard in the morning and then do something outside the motor home for a portion of the afternoon.
To name a few of the things we have enjoyed doing...
we have gone on walks...
flown our kite...
(right as I was snapping a picture of the kite actually flying, it took a nose dive...
and then, an af ranger said kites scare snowy plovers so that was the end of that)
visited the library...
gone to the beach...
and played in the community room.
As a family, we have also gone swimming, visited a sweet little danish town for yummy treats, eaten at local restaurants, and gone to the drive-in theater. In some ways, since we are here for just a short while, it is hard to not treat it a little bit like vacaction, but we want to be deliberate and purposeful with our time here, while we have fun as a family. It is a nice place to do training and since we are so close to where Brandon goes to class, we get to enjoy having Brandon come home for lunch everyday, which is a blessing. We'll try to post an update as we get closer to our Alaska departure. I'm still getting an error message when I try to upload the video but I'll try a couple more things. Until next time...
