While we were in North Carolina, we "celebrated" Chick-fil-a Cow Day!
Here's our little cow about to get her free food.
I CANNOT believe we didn't get any pictures, but on this day, we also met up with some
really dear friends from our last duty in Colorado Springs who now live in North Carolina.
A great day all around!
These were my fellow travelers in the back seat with me on the way to the beach. Thrilling...
Moped! We had such a fun date on this.
4 generations happy to be together
We made it to NC in time to celebrate Poppy "39th" birthday too!!!
Kaylee enjoyed having a little space to herself,
where she kept all her treasures, and if you were lucky enough, she would invite you in.
We did a photo scavenger hunt and, for part of it, we had to quickly build a sand castle.
The building became more challenging when we looked back to find Kaylee squashing all the progress.
She likes her Poppy
My crazy husband...
Poppy got a new toy while we were at the beach and he and Kaylee found lots of "treasures" together.
She loved the beach
We would never have this many photos from our trip if it wasn't for Mimi.
She took most of them, which means she isn't in most of them, but this is a fun little "selfie" of the girls
Kaylee got to ride some rides while at the beach, but she was a little tired and didn't know what to think.
Fireworks at Broadway at the Beach
Luvs
Fun memories with our sweet Mema Joyce
Kaylee still talks about Kasey. She loved playing with a little dog more her size.
I'm not sure the feelings are reciprocated...
Can't get enough of just relaxing in the pool : )
Kaylee did great in the water and she loved it! So fun!
