They're....

Quick post before we hit the hay....

Monday we had our first appointment with the Maternal Fetal Specialist who will be closely monitoring our pregnancy due to the monochorionic (one placenta) situation. Unfortunately, she informed me that it is too risky for me to go to Alabama at this point in my pregnancy. I wouldn't have access to the care I need and it is crucial that the twins get checked by the same doctor at very specific points throughout the next 9 weeks. This would also be the most logical place for me to be if I need emergency surgery as well. This was quite the mental shift and hard to swallow at first, because no one had warned us of this before. We weren't sure what this would mean for our family, but the Lord gave us direction, and gave Brandon a wonderful boss who worked it out so that we can all stay here in Colorado. Brandon had to sacrifice the privilege of attending SOS in residence, but the Lord has showed us many good aspects to staying here.

Anyway...

At that appointment, we were also informed that....

We are very excited!
