8 months with Big Blue

Here Kaylee is at 8 months old. For some reason, this was like a "mini" 16th birthday to me. The moment I woke her up, all of a sudden, she just seemed older and bigger and wow does time fly. Her (Mama's) 8 month goal is to wean away her pacifier and explore even more new foods. Kaylee has tried a couple more sounds like ma, ga, and da, but has not repeated any of them since the initial try. Her new favorite thing is to spy on Papa over her bumper, while he works on school and while she is supposedly taking a nap. She is as quiet as a mouse when she does it and is all grins when she is caught.

I'll try to get a quick 9 month updated on here before we head out, but if not, I will report from California!
